These simply beautiful coral islands remain preciously untouched by modern development.  They comprise a group of 36 islands, only 10 of which are inhabited by a total of 50,000 people. Soak up the sun, dive in the crystal clear blue sea, or stroll the sandbars and coconut-fringed footpaths though the palms.  Your beach hut accommodation has tiled roofs and shady palm-thatched verandas and while it is simple, it provides plenty enough creature comforts to ensure a totally relaxing time. 
The local restaurant is the pride of the island, made out of bamboo and palm fronds, and is a friendly, informal hubbub with great food and beverages as well as a fantastic library and games room.

ITINERARY

DAY 01  TRIVANDRUM - COCHIN 
You are greeted at Trivandrum airport and transferred by car to Cochin.  Overnight in Cochin.

DAY 02  COCHIN - AGATTI 
Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Agatti, the only airport servicing the Lakshwadeep Islands. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your beach hut accommodation on Bangaram Island.

DAY 03 - 10  BANGARAM ISLAND (and other shores)  
For the next seven days you are free to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of this idyllic destination, with the opportunity to visit other islands by boat if you wish.

DAY 11  AGATTI - COCHIN 
Transfer to Agatti Airport for your flight back to Cochin.  You are met on arrival and transferred to your hotel.

DAY 12  COCHIN 
Morning tour of this ancient coastal town, which was an important trading post for the early Phoenician, Arab and Chinese traders.  This multicultural heritage is reflected in the city’s colourful architecture and monuments.  Afternoon at leisure.

DAY 13  COCHIN - TRIVANDRUM 
Transfer by road back to Trivandrum to the airport for your onward or homeward flight.  Tour ends.
